We have come to the end of another year and the beginning of a new year. The Association Officers, Staff and Area Directors look forward to working for you, the members of this organization. How can we serve you better? One of my major goals for 1999 is to attempt to inform all the members of the Association of the benefits that they have by being a member. The department/squad leadership can assist in getting the message across. Each one of us who is a member of the Benevolent Brotherhood should make it a goal to obtain one new member in the Brotherhood. If you need help in explaining the benefits of being a member of the Association, please call the office and Gordon will provide someone to meet with your squad to explain the benefits.
When I accepted the position as interim Vice-Commander, I did not realize the amount of work that is done in our Association Office.
Since this time, I have received a lot of paperwork that is received and sent by our office. Gordon and his staff deserves a "Thank You" from every member of our Association. When you see the staff or call them, please tell them what a good job they are doing for our members.
So Gordon, Lynette and Becky from all of us, "Thank You".
